이번 행사는 기후 변화에 대응하는 'K-기후행동'의 글로벌 확산을 선도하기 위해 열린다. '이제는 우리가 기후에게 대답해야 할 때'라는 슬로건을 가지고 젊은 세대들에게 선한 영향력을 끼치고자 하는 목적 또한 지녔다.
특히 K-헤리티지의 상징물인 '종'을 앞세운 프로젝트가 진행된다. 설치예술가 한원석이 '폐 스피커' 3088개로 제작한 '종'에 기후행동 챌린지 '#지구에게사과해' 참여자들의 이름을 새겨 넣는 대형 프로젝트다.
